Political Cartoons for the week

Haha! Well, it's making everyone mad because it is a culturally divisive issue. I am also on the fence, but not out support for the elephants. That's still not an excuse to stop talking about it.

So does Cheney. Saudi Arabia has strings on Cheney and his suitcase, haha. The PM looks terrified, but I guess most people would be too if they were being played by Iran, Saudi Arabia and the US all at the same time.

I remind you that Republicans are the biggest supporters of this new
amnesty bill (McLame, Kyl, and Bushy). The conservative base is
infuriated with the Republican attempts at getting this legislation passed.

Of course the U.S. is having a direct hand in Iraq. We've sacrificed our blood and treasure in trying to help that country, so we need to see to it that Iraq is on the right track. Don't overstate the influence of Saudi Arabia over the U.S. We have just as many deep ties with other nations around the world.

LOL McLame? Yes, I find that surprising Bush is so supportive of the Democrat-led efforts. I think Bush is trying to leave a legacy after everything that's happened in Iraq, amnesty seems to be his way of doing it.

Well, we may have put blood sweat and tears into the Iraq war effort, but we did that in Vietnam also. Vietnam had more deaths, but it went on longer than the Iraq War has so far. The point is that a significant amount of lives were lost in both, and implementing the same cut & run policy may benefit in the long run. The US currently enjoys a great relationship with unified Vietnam.

As far as Saudi Arabia goes, yeah we have deep relations with many countries, but really Saudi Arabia is the only relevant country at this point (one of them).

I agree... you hit it right on the head on that one. I am happy were getting out of Iraq now, and i know we should have been fighting Afghanastan intead but it's been so long ago the twin towers were attacked, puting more troops in there is a complete waist of money and time, as well as innocent american lives. We already have most of the people who attacked the twin towers and I'm pretty sure Benladdin isn't hiding out there.... so overall, theres no point in going. We could use that money for people like me. People who are in college and need financial help, because education is under extreme cut backs, this country needs brilliant minds in order to compete in this global market me have come to dominate.
